Tamara (Tami) Brothers-McNeil, PA-C, grew up traveling the country and world as her father was in the US Air Force. Following in her father’s footsteps, Tami joined the US Air Force and worked as a communications/navigation specialist on both the F4/E and KC/RC-135 aircraft. Tami applied for and was accepted into the competitive US Air Force Physician Assistant Program sponsored by the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she graduated at the top of her class with honors. She practiced as a PA in the USAF seeing patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.
After 21 years of service, she retired to Alaska where she worked at the South Central Foundation in Family Practice. Tami went on to work in the ear, nose and throat specialty department for a year before beginning to work in occupational health. She worked for Beacon OHSS as the lead provider for Alyeska Pipe Line. Tami has practiced as a PA-C for 25 years and has been working in pain management since 2011.
Tami has lived in Alaska since 2005 with her five children. She enjoys spending time with them and her grandchildren. She is very passionate about everything Disney.
